As your feelings shift, the look of your aura shifts too, reflecting the changes in your inner energy. Its many energy fields, in many strengths and colors, are like an open book of a person's life and spiritual growth. Nothing at all can be hidden.
Is a halo an aura?
A radiant golden aura is often linked with the idea of a halo, shown in religious art around the heads of holy figures such as Jesus or the saints. In these images, the halo shows the person's heightened auric energy and spiritual enlightenment.
What happens to the energy body after death?
At physical death, a person usually finds themselves in their etheric, or energy, body. When the etheric body uses up its etheric energy, the main form becomes the much finer astral body, which holds the soul along with the mental and spirit bodies. How long this takes varies a great deal from person to person, depending on how materialistic and self-centered they were, and how focused on the physical side of life on Earth.
Eventually, after fulfilling their desires in the astral realm, the astral body begins to "fade" away, leaving only the mental body: the immortal spirit, the true image of "God" within a human being. This marks the completion of a profound spiritual journey.
