I read the cards—and what comes through them

Tarot has a rich symbolic language. But knowing a card’s meaning and interpreting it within your particular situation are different things. Who does it describe? What is happening around it? How does it relate to your question and the other cards?

The same card can speak differently in a reading about a relationship than in one about a career decision. Even within a relationship reading, context matters. Someone’s hesitation might involve their feelings, their circumstances, or something they have not told you.

As I work with the cards, their imagery can open into clairvoyant impressions—what I see—and clairaudient messages—what I hear. I interpret those impressions alongside the spread to understand what is being communicated. Sometimes I need a little explanation of a complicated situation. Often, I need very little background. We begin with what you want to know.

Love, relationships—and the question behind the question

Love and relationships are what people ask me about most. Usually, the question is personal: Does he still love me? When will she call? Is he really going to get a divorce? Is this relationship moving toward commitment?

Sometimes you begin with “What does he feel?” and discover that what you really need to understand is why his behavior does not seem to match those feelings. That distinction matters. Someone can care about you and still leave you wondering where you stand.

A reading lets us explore the connection, the people involved, what may be affecting their behavior, and where things appear to be heading. We can look beyond the immediate question without losing sight of why you called.

I understand that you may be hoping for a particular answer. I will tell you what I read, with care—including the parts you may not have wanted to hear.

You don’t need to know Tarot to have a reading

You don’t need to recognize the cards, choose a spread, or arrive knowing the difference between the Major and Minor Arcana. That is my department.

Your part is to tell me what you want to understand. A clear question gives us somewhere to begin. For example:

• What does this person want from our relationship?
• What is behind the change in communication?
• What do I need to understand about this job opportunity?
• What is affecting the progress of this situation?
• Where is this connection heading?

You do not have to phrase your question perfectly. I often help reword it so I can communicate it clearly to my Spirit Guides and recognize the information coming through. “What is going on with him?” may be where you start. Let’s establish which part of his behavior has you wondering.

A frightening-looking card does not tell the whole story

If you have ever pulled a card, looked at its name, and immediately wished you had left the deck alone, you are in good company. The imagery can be dramatic, but a card’s title is the beginning of interpretation, not the entire answer.

The Death card does not automatically predict a physical death. The Lovers does not automatically announce your future spouse. We consider the question, the surrounding cards, and the impressions that accompany them.

One card should not send you into a panic—or have you choosing wedding flowers before the person has asked you to dinner.

Can Tarot show what happens next?

I use Tarot as part of my predictive work, alongside clairvoyance and clairaudience. A reading can reveal developments ahead while helping you understand the circumstances and people involved now.

Sometimes the information concerns an approaching conversation or opportunity. Sometimes it reveals an obstacle that explains why things have not moved as you expected. Understanding what is happening now can be just as important as knowing what comes next.

Timing is a question of its own. If I receive a time frame, I can discuss it with you. If I do not, I will say so. I won’t manufacture a date because waiting is uncomfortable. The purpose is to give you a meaningful understanding of your situation so you can decide what to do with that information.

A personal reading, wherever you are

My readings are by phone. You do not need to sit across a table from me or physically handle the cards. Bring your questions, allow yourself time for the conversation, and find somewhere you can speak comfortably.

You can ask about love, a career concern, a family situation, or a decision that has become difficult to untangle. We will focus on what matters to you.
