Why won't a psychic always tell you how things will turn out?
Because sometimes you are not meant to know yet. I will not be given certain information about the future if you are NOT meant to know it at that moment. Knowing the future changes the future, and some outcomes are held back so that you can make the changes that bring about a better one.
Today, during one of my readings, I was reminded of when some psychic predictions should not be known, and why. This client is a perfect example: she has made real progress with her beau, and it's because a certain outcome could not be known.
What happened when my client asked if her relationship would work out?
This goes back months now, because of course we all want to know if the relationship we are in is going to work out. It is one of the most popular burning questions we have.
My client needed to know where her relationship was going. Something more definite, like: will they make it? But I was not given that outcome in our past sessions. The information I did receive said that she had to make a change. It wasn't a matter of waiting for the best outcome, or of simply believing it would happen.
If I had told her, "Oh yes, everything is going to work out just the way you want," she would have walked around happy-go-lucky, believing everything was going to work out. Those of you who know me well know I would never say anything like that to begin with.
Why can't some things be known?
I say "cannot" rather than "should not," because "should not" sounds like a value judgment. Let me explain.
First of all, knowing the future changes the future. Your knowledge of what can and will happen has an influence on upcoming events. Your action or inaction affects the flow of energy, and once you know (or think you know) something that will happen, you can most definitely change or alter it. Sometimes we can change what looks negative into something positive.
For example, say I tell you you're going to be in a great relationship with a certain someone, and you believe it. But then that someone changes course and pulls away. That changes the course of events. Because you believed the outcome was guaranteed, you didn't act or choose a path that would let you grow and change the outcome. You thought it was fated. You took the future for granted, and you believed you bore no responsibility for how it unfolded. By accepting a passive role in your life, you deprived yourself of the reality you wanted.
Do you have to just wait for things to happen?
No. If you believe all you have to do is wait for things to happen, then you do not have free will. You are pushed by some unseen force into every situation, and your mind is not free to decide, to create, to manifest the desires of your heart. Why? Because you believe you have no power in your life.
We all have power; we just don't use it. Those who don't float along like a flower in a stream create their own destiny. Everything happens for a reason and there are no accidents, but that does not mean we should sit idly by, accepting whatever comes.
Real psychic predictions and professional readings don't deal in such confident expectations. The universe does not allow spiritual channels to guarantee your future happiness.
Why be careful of a psychic who says everything will work out?
In this client's case, things have improved dramatically, and it was because she did NOT get a favorable prediction. What came through in her sessions was that she had to change how she dealt with him. The outcome could not be clearly seen because there was more than one possible outcome: one based on her keeping the same behavior, and another based on changing her own approach. Once she jumped in and changed her own energy, the situation changed in her favor.
So why wasn't I shown the outcome? Because it would have created a false belief that offered nothing for her personal growth or her power to make the changes she wanted. Now she is in a more powerful position, and she learned something about herself that knowing the outcome could never have taught her.
Do readings ever show definite outcomes?
Yes. Other readings do show certain outcomes, the probability of events based on current energy patterns. Some we like, some we don't. Each reading is different.
Lessons must be learned; they cannot be bypassed. If you are in a difficult situation with another person, you are being called to take stock of yourself and your own destiny: to be at cause in your life instead of at the mercy of circumstances.
