How do psychics know about the future? Who is giving them this information? Does it come from them? Is this an ability? Is this a power? Is this a gift? Is this for real?

First, you should be aware that only a limited amount of information about the future can be known due to certain principles of the universe that control many of our experiences such as your soul group, your karma and your destiny. You go along in life making decisions and choices and then you experience the consequences of theses choices. It’s normal for most unevolved people not to give too much thought or significance to the meaning of your everyday decisions, but life can be compared to a chemical equation. When a force or action goes in one direction, an equal force or reaction returns, creating a balanced equation. Sir Isaac Newton’s Third Law of Motion is very much a scientific way of looking at life even from a spiritual point of view. In life, the balance or harmony is the goal. Even if we are unaware of it, it is happening to us all and is reflected in nature. But human souls create imbalances that have to be corrected and brought to balance. And this can happen in very difficult challenging ways, and hence, our life lessons. No one gets out of them. And even if a psychic tells you the future, it will not prevent these lessons from being learned. Therefore, certain information will not be known so that you can learn these lessons. Otherwise, if we could know everything that we can think to ask about the future, there would be no point of existence. And everyone would put off their lessons and there would be no order in the universe.

So What Can be Known?

Let’s try to straighten out some ideas. From speaking to so many people over the years, I can see that many believe that a psychic can tell them the answer to just about everything. They believe that psychics have powers, abilities or are God-gifted and that they are linked to God and are here for others to tap into their ability and get the answers they need.

This special ability that a spiritually gifted person has comes in many different forms, such as clairvoyance, mediumship, clairaudience and empathic ability, for example. Now for each gifted person, that ability is unique to them and also expressed in different ways. Many psychically gifted individuals started “feeling”, “knowing”, “seeing” things at a very young age. Most likely they had no idea of what it was unless they had someone in their life to explain it to them. Now depending on the personality of the individual, meaning whether they respond to certain external stimuli in a more “feelings” (empathic) way, or perhaps “see” (clairvoyant) visions, or “hear” (clairaudience) messages is totally unique to them and is not experienced in the same way at all by every gifted person. Let’s take athletes for an example. There are many kinds of athletes–there are football players, basketball players, baseball, hockey, soccer, just go on down the line. Now every athlete is not gifted for every type of sport, are they? There are a rare few who are multi-gifted in that way and the sames goes for spiritually or psychically gifted people.

People have become confused by the false claims that are promoted and even cultivated by the fake psychic industry. Have you ever seen claims by so-called psychics such as: I see all; I can name your soul mate; I can bring your lover back; I can remove negativity from your life, etc. No one can see all. I’ve had hundreds of psychic readings and no one has ever been able to name my soul mate or bring a lover back or remove negativity from my life. These kinds of promotions really confuse people as to what a psychic can see or know or feel. Information from a genuine spiritual source is something that is personal, it’s for your highest good. You could receive messages that you did not even ask for, or your questions could be ignored. You have to have a professional psychic if you want an authentic psychic reading.

The truth is that a real psychic will see only what they are given, and they cannot say in advance what they “will” see for anyone. A true psychic reading is a connection to a spiritual realm where they can receive information meant to help you to make good decisions or take correct action, or to enlighten you with insight into your life and give guidance. Think of it like a a stereo tuner that can tune into different channels and pick up what is being broadcast. What they receive is what they receive. A real psychic cannot control what they receive. A responsible, honest psychic will let you know what they are getting and will also let you know when they cannot give you some information you may want to know. To pretend they have all the answers is just plain unethical and part and parcel of the imitation psychic industry.

If in your question about how do psychics know the future, you are asking for a technical explanation, then that I cannot explain. For me, it is a hearing, feeling, seeing connection. I wish I knew a more precise explanation of how all of this works, but when it comes to sentient beings, it is not scientifically precise. Divination and reading the auric energy field of another, or getting glimpses into the future, is a talent , but it is one that is uniquely “developed” by a intuitively gifted individual and therefore, when working with someone to get guidance, respect the process and determine what your psychic’s specific gift is and how they use it and what kind of information they can receive. Some gifted people can only pick up minimal information while others who have developed their ability can work with it on a professional level. Just be cautioned that some people who do have a little psychic ability might not accurately be portraying whether or not they can receive information about which you seek.

If you found this article, you may have recently received a psychic reading and something made you wonder if what you heard was accurate. Perhaps you had a nagging feeling that what you heard sounded to good to be true and you needed to do some research about psychics and how accurate they are; or maybe you are thinking about getting a psychic reading and decided since the internet seems to be the first stop in finding out just about anything you want to learn about, you searched for how accurate are psychics.

If you are somewhat new to getting psychic readings, most likely you found a website where there are hundreds or thousands of psychic advisers waiting to take you call. How convenient that when you find yourself in need of gaining some insight or finding out what your love might be doing when you are not around, you come across a number of large websites offering psychic readings. They might offer some free time to get you started on your first call and your off. You call one or two to see what they have to say and amazingly, they said very similar things. You think, wow, there must be something to this. How could two psychic readers say the same things. You may start thinking things like:

It must be true. This guy I just met and I’m so attracted to likes me just as much as I like him. Both of them told me he was my soul mate and that no matter what we are going to be together. They said in just a few weeks, he’ll ask me out and then things will pick up and by summer we’ll be a couple. I’m floored, they both said the same things. OMG, I knew it, I knew it. I knew he was attracted to me, he just didn’t want to act like it because he’s been hurt in the past.

Now suppose a few weeks go by and he never makes a move to ask you out; you’ve become Facebook friends and you start keeping a watch on his activity. You persist in your calls to these two psychics and they’ve moved the date out a bit because of free will or something and say you just have to be patient. They tell you he loves you and thinks about you all the time and add in some other details that amaze you and then you decide to hold on and wait a bit, maybe you’re just rushing it. It’s been two months now and even though you’ve run into him a couple times, he seems a little shy and hasn’t said anything, but he seems to be admiring you so you start thinking it’s just a matter of time. And nothing ever happened. You never even got to date him.

There’s no excuse for a psychic adviser to spin tales and sell you false hope. But they will. This is not a spiritual practice; but you have to take responsibility right from the beginning for making sure you are speaking with a REAL psychic adviser. One who has talent, integrity and would never mislead you or deliberately lie to you. Unfortunately, this is what people are encountering and then becoming angered at because in the end, the truth will be known about your situation and the fact that you’ve been lied to. This is never a pleasant realization. The real psychics are not readily visible on huge networks that proliferate the “imitation” standard. You have to make an effort to find them. It is much easier to do research by searching for “real psychic readings” or “authentic psychic readings” or “real professional psychic readings” on the internet before actually making your first call. Also, try forming the questions you have about psychics in your internet search. This way you have a better chance of having an authentic experience. So many have been disillusioned with psychics because of this imitation standard and this hurts the real ones. And there are real ones.

So, be prepared to do this by keeping these facts in mind and make sure you are not aiding your psychic in selling you a dream. It’s so easy to do and you could do it and not even realize it; especially in matters of the heart, which 90% of readings are about. And when matters of the heart are involved, painful disappointment can result from believing in fabricated stories.

Some Clues That You May Be Dealing With A Fake Psychic

A psychic who is not real will pretend to connect with you instantaneously. Without tuning into your energy at all. If a psychic has all of the answers within the first second of your last syllable, this could be a sign they are not real. It varies with different psychics but on networks, when you are on the clock many times you are in a hurry (especially with some of the outrageous per minute rates out there lately). The psychic feels pressured to rush information to you. You’re not helping yourself. The first 3 minutes is the time it would take for a psychic to get a really good connection to your energy. A real psychic is a sentient person who connects with higher consciousness, not an amusement park fortune teller or something you play with like a slot machine. Fake psychics will have all the answers almost immediately. This is a good indicator. But if really fast answers is what you’re looking for, then don’t really expect too much authenticity. Spiritual advice flows out of a channel and is best received when they are not hurried or pressured. That’s why a private professional phone psychic can provide a relaxed environment where they have discretion over their time. I usually spend 5 minutes or so with my client before starting the session because this relaxes me and my client.

Another indication your psychic is not real is they ask you a lot of questions. It’s possible they may be good at giving you practical advice, which isn’t a bad thing, but, it’s not a psychic connection. They ask a lot of questions so they can make educated guesses.

If your psychic is eating, you hear a lot of background noise, you can hear them doing some other activity like typing or turning pages from a script and reading out of it, or falling asleep, they are not even a good fake psychic. They’re totally unprofessional.

If your psychic is telling you a lot of things that make you feel good and you like it, well, you may have fallen into the trap and you could easily be participating in your own fantasy that is being created. You’ll keep calling back for the good feeling they gave you. It may be that you’re not ready to hear the truth and the fantasy might satisfy you temporarily. Fantasies often can form to escape a bad experience and the fake psychic then becomes the perfect link to escapism rather than the ideal connection to knowledge from the Source (true spiritual origins). In these cases, I have phrased this tendency the Psycle of Mutual Exploitation which can easily become an addiction or dependency issue (See my article, “Psychic Dependency….”). If you want the truth and accurate PSYCHIC advice and predictions, you have to take responsibility for making it happen by doing some research first before calling just any psychic.

Some other useful tips

Ask your initial question without providing a whole lot of detail. Try to resist this. Sometimes some general information can apply to most people. Wait for specific details, not generalities. Participate where necessary. A psychic sometimes needs clarification to understand something they are getting psychically, but if you tell the whole shabang before you establish they have psychic ability and have indeed established the connection, they’ll end up coming to some logical conclusions and basically feeding you back the information you gave. Curb your enthusiasm. Once you know your psychic is legitimate, feel free to share with a trusted professional psychic adviser.

Do not focus on time lines or exact dates. A fake psychic will not be able to make any accurate psychic predictions, much less accurate time lines. Besides, if you stop the flow of your energy by choosing to lock yourself into a specific time and space you are messing with your own future fluidity. By trying to make even a real psychic tell you exactly when something will happen is not always possible, but I thoroughly cover this topic in my article, “Accurate Psychic Predictions–My Psychic Reading Was Accurate, The Dates Were Wrong.”

Be very careful of getting caught up with a imitation psychic when you are feeling down or very vulnerable. This type of psychic will take complete advantage of you. Some feel justified in what they are doing because they make you feel good, but don’t care about the pain it will cause when you realize you’ve been lied to. Trust in only a professional spiritual counselor with you concerns.

The main thing is establishing a relationship with a real, legitimate psychic who can help empower you. From there, you will find the answers you are seeking. Research and ask questions or search for “how to find a real psychic” or “real professional psychic readings“. There are really great spiritually gifted, legitimate psychic intuitives who can help you. Believe that. But also remember there are way too many pretend, imitation psychics out there waiting to sell you A DREAM.

Everyone would like to know WHEN something they are wanting to happen or waiting to happen will occur. This desire is human nature, one that burns inside us as strong as thirst or hunger. Especially when it is concerning a matter dear to your heart. Who wouldn’t want to know exactly the date when they will meet their true love; or the date when they will marry and have children; or the date when that dream job will be yours.

You are not alone in this desire. Psychic predictions or psychic readings can be very accurate in the information that is seen during your reading. However, time and time and again, most likely later today, I will get to the core of a reading and without fail, the client will undoubtedly want to know WHEN what I am seeing is going happen. I’ve often heard myself saying, “so now you want to when, right?”

First of all, let’s clarify something about timing and the prediction of a date when your prediction will happen. Let’s put thinking caps on and let’s just try to put aside your burning desire to know the exact date when something will happen. Let’s suppose that you wanted to know if your marriage would end in divorce, and if so, when? Or, when am I going to get married, or which month you will get pregnant. These are all things that many people wonder about. But, do you think that the universe intended for us to know the exact date that something we have a burning desire for will happen? Really, do you think so? Why if a psychic could guarantee the date (or even close to the date), that would change the world in which we live. All we would have to do is call up a psychic and ask them when I am I going to get what I want, and there you will have the answer? No. This is not true. Although I have predicted the dates or come close for many people, it is only possible to get dates or time frames when that knowledge can be known. And, I always inform my clients that if I get a date, I will give you one. So much of what we want to know, cannot be known–dates are one of them. But it is a question in high demand. Just remember that the content of your reading is the most important. Do not fall in the trap of trying to know when what is seen will occur, but if your psychic’s reading is accurate, it is important to trust this information and not focus on exact dates. Focusing on when can confuse you and take you off course. Focus on right action and flow. Making the right choices and flowing with your path.

Using those thinking caps, and putting aside your burning desire, it becomes more logical that we can’t know the dates that something is going to happen every time because you will stop doing what it takes to get you from Point A to Point B. You’ll just sit back and wait for it. This is a trap that people who seek psychic advice find themselves in–waiting for the date! When you dwell on a date that you think is guaranteed you change the natural flow of your rhythm and if you think that sitting around waiting for a desired outcome is going bring you results, the opposite is true. In fact, when you get psychic information, it is best to let it go and put it out of your mind. The information ideally should be digested or assimilated to help you make your best choices, not enmeshed in attempting to control the timing of your fulfillment because your desires may require certain factors to be in play in order to manifest. In other words, the Universe is not going to allow us to desire something and expect that we can have the exact date it will happen unless all the factors necessary to bring it about are in play and this knowledge can be known. Some people, especially those who call network psychics (who try to represent that they can tell you everything), have this sense of entitlement when it comes to knowing everything including the date when the prediction will happen; and feel resentful when that exact date finally arrives and they were wrong! Is the psychic wrong when the date is not exact? A psychic can only give you an impression and if they are skilled, they will immediately know they are not getting exact timing at the time of your reading. And you should be told this.

Always keep in mind that we are all here for a specific purpose and your life is a mixture of disappointments and fulfillment and the course a life takes is dependent on your choices and the consequences of those choices. My advice to people who think that they can have a guaranteed date or guaranteed accurate psychic prediction when something will happen is to take more responsibility for the outcome of your situation and ask your psychic if you are on the right track and if you, based on your energy at the time of your reading, are prepared to fulfill your desires in the desired time frame. Ask what you can do or should be doing. Life is not about entitlement, it is about meeting our obstacles with strength and wisdom, and walking through. Your psychic is your guide, but you are at cause when it comes to making what you want to happen manifest. It is such a great feeling to know that you are making things happen in your life rather than passively sitting by “waiting” for something to occur. Happiness is knowing you are prepared to meet life’s challenges and in tune with the rhythm of your own path and flowing with it. This is beauty of life.

So don’t get it mixed up. Psychics are not here to guarantee your future and date stamp it, but to reveal it to you and inform you that you are indeed on the right track or to help you find your way. When it is time for you to know when, you will be provided that information. Respect your real professional psychic‘s skill, honesty and integrity in informing you what can be seen and what cannot.

I know it’s only Monday and Thanksgiving is in a few days, so there hasn’t quite been a theme of the week established yet. But today, during one of my readings I was reminded of when some psychic predictions should not be known and why. This is a perfect example because my client has really made some real progress with her beau and it’s because a certain eventuality or outcome could not be known. This is going back months now because, of course, we all want to know if the relationship we are in is going to work out. This is one of the most popular burning questions we have.

Well, a good reason why you cannot know some things, and I say cannot because it’s more of a value judgment if I say should not, I will explain. I will not be given certain information about the future if you are NOT meant to know the information at that moment. For instance, my client needed to know a while back where her relationship was going. Something more definite like, will they make it? But, I was not given this eventuality in past sessions. But the information I did receive indicated that she had to make a change. It wasn’t a matter of waiting for an optimal outcome or more like believing it will happen.

If I were to tell her, “oh yes, everything is going to work out just the way you want,” well then she would walk around happy-go-lucky believing that, well, everything was going to work out. Those of you who know me well know I would never say anything like that to begin with.

First of all, knowing the future changes the future. More specifically, your knowledge of what can and will happen exerts an influence on upcoming life events. Your action or inaction will affect the flow of energy and once you know or think you know something that will occur in the future, you most definitely can change or alter it. Sometimes we can change what looks negative into something positive.

For example, I tell you you’re going to be in a great relationship with a certain someone. You believe this. But what happens when that certain someone decides to change his course of action and ends up pulling away– when they decide to change their scenery. This changes the course of events. But you were thinking or believing that it was going to be a great relationship. And by believing that you were guaranteed some eventuality, you failed to act or decide upon a course of action that allowed you to grow thereby changing the possible outcome because you thought it was going to be a fated event. You took the future for granted. You changed the desired outcome because you believed something you were told was going to happen and that you bore no responsibility to the ever developing future. By accepting your passive role in your life you deprived yourself of a desired reality.

Well, let me clarify something, if you believe that all you have to do is ‘wait’ for things to happen, then you do not have free will. You are controlled by some unseen force into every situation that ever happens, your mind is not free to decide, to create, to manifest the desires of your heart. Why? Because you believe that you do not have power in your life. We all have power, we just don’t use it. So those who don’t float along like a flower in a stream with no will create their own destiny. And even though everything happens for a reason and there are no accidents does not mean we should sit idly by accepting that which comes.

But real psychic predictions and professional psychic readings really don’t deal in such confident expectations. The universe does not allow spiritual channels to guarantee your future happiness.

This is why you have to be careful when you call a psychic and they tell you things are going to work out just fine. In this client’s case, things have improved drastically but it was because she did NOT get this favorable outcome prediction. What has been gleaned during her sessions is the fact that she must change how she deals with him. The outcome could not be clearly seen since there is more than one possible outcome. One based on her having the same behavior and another based on changing her own modality. Once she jumped in and altered her own energy flow, the situation also altered in her favor.

So why wasn’t I shown this? Because it would have created a false belief that offered nothing for her personal growth and her power to make desired changes. And now, she is in a more powerful position and she learned something about herself that knowing the eventuality could not have brought about otherwise.

Other readings, of course, do show certain outcomes. Certain probability of events based on current energy patterns. Some we don’t like, some we do. But each reading is different. Lessons must be learned and cannot be bypassed. If we are in a difficult situation with another, you are being called to take stock of yourself and your own destiny. To be at cause in your life instead of affected by circumstances.

Be careful of knowing too much of the future. Seek out psychic insight into another and find the path pointing to resolution and not just when you will have personal satisfaction. The universe does not work this way.

The psychic industry is replete with con artists and fakes. Who is really on the other end of your telephone or behind your computer screen? Get an inside track on what to look out for when calling a psychic network.

After conducting psychic readings, numerology readings and tarot card readings for over 20 years now, I have gained a definite perspective not only as an adviser but as a client. As a client, I was been able to see exactly how psychics who are not real work their magic. After getting a psychic reading from dozens of so-called psychic advisers, you may find yourself intoxicated by the things that the psychic tells you. If it sounds too good to be true, most likely it is. You have to understand the origins and purpose of psychic networks. Their job is to make lots of money, not to help you. Granted, there are real psychics who are gifted and working on psychic network lines, but I have found that most of the people working as psychic advisers period, are not real at all. I’m sure you have heard by now that many fake psychics use scripts and certain formats in conducting their psychic readings, but for the most part, it’s really simple what they tell you that gets you hooked. For example, if after getting a psychic reading, you find yourself feeling intoxicated almost, then they have done their job superbly. To be told that the one you love, loves you and that you will marry them and be together for the rest of your life is intoxicating. They give you hope that keeps you calling and calling until after you see that you have been lied to, you begin to face reality and the truth sinks in, you now realize that what they said was not true when they said it nor will it ever turn out to be true. You will find yourself hurt and disillusioned beyond the ordinary disillusionment experienced from your own life’s complications. You may even find yourself broke or in debt. It’s unconscionable that people could prey on others’ vulnerabilities and pain in this way. But that is exactly what they do. And in the end, there is only more pain. And the inevitable distrust of psychics. It’s this “fake” paradigm, which has its roots in the first elemental phone psychic networks, that dominates the public’s perception and legitimate scrutiny is reasonable. But real psychics around the globe are out there and you should make it your business to find a foolproof way of determining who is real and who is not until such time as this paradigm is changed to ensure that your adviser is authentic by virtue of their credentials as it is for any professional practitioner.

Now you may frequent sites where the adviser is given feedback after your call. This is a good thing but, it is not foolproof. I have seen fake psychics who will have almost perfectly glowing feedback that goes on and on for pages. Perfect! You may wonder why this occurs. Simple. After you hear exactly what you want to hear or want to believe verified, well, this is where that intoxication comes in, you tend to reflect your glorious feelings with equally glowing feedback! But when things don’t happen the way were told, you never come back. So, others following in your footsteps will call this adviser because “they too want to believe.” Another thing to watch out for is fake feedback. This is also a tactic used by fakes to fool you. On sites where feedback is left, an authentic psychic adviser has to have a very high level of integrity in order to be comfortable telling the truth despite the fact of what the client wants to hear. If the psychic does not tell them what they want to hear in a reading, the client may leave very bad comments and a bad rating. It’s the price you pay for being real. In my experience when I tell a client something they didn’t want to hear, for the most part, they don’t leave any comments. The fact is, they will most likely go find another psychic who will reflect their own feelings about the situation. A reading can be truthful AND uplifting without bringing the client down but you have to be ready to hear the truth.

So how do you know who is real and who is not based on feedback! That is not to say that an authentic psychic is not going to have great feedback. They do, but sometimes they will be the ones to receive bad ratings and feedback mixed in with the good. Life is all about taking the good with the bad. Honestly, it’s very hard to tell. The proof is really in the reading and outcomes and developing a relationship with a few trusted advisers who have been able to connect with you and your energy and have proven that their insights and predictions have been accurate for you. But, just remember, if it sounds unbelievably good, it probably is not really true and the psychic is not real and only setting up a line to take your money and setting you up for emotional failure. So be careful of perfect feedback. It’s really not always an accurate gauge of the psychic advisers true abilities; except of course their ability to fleece you out of your dollars. Of course, really consistently bad feedback is a good indication that the adviser is probably just very bad and should think about going into another line of work.

Another point, you need to understand that even if you are speaking with a gifted, authentic psychic, you and that particular psychic may not connect that well. That is different from the psychic being fake. There a many reasons why a particular psychic may not connect with you. They may not be rested and ready to take calls, or you may not be relaxed and ready to receive truthful information or in some other way blocking the flow of what is being channeled thereby skewing the information on either side. Psychic readings are not an exact science. Intuition is relied upon to conduct an accurate psychic reading for a client. The reading goes much better when both the psychic adviser and client are relaxed and ready to receive. I personally find it difficult to connect with a client who wants to hear a certain thing. I have experienced many times my client trying to guide the reading. So see your authentic psychic adviser as someone who wants to help you and be ready to assist in the flow of information.

To spot a fake psychic is not impossible, neither is finding the right psychic, but if there was a way to quantify the statistic of fakes out there, I would be willing to bet that most (due in large part to large networks hiring script readers) are not real. Unfortunate, but through observation and experience, I feel this to be true.

One of the Oldest Tricks in the Book. First Warning Sign You Have Got A Fake!

One of the oldest tricks in the book and something which continues to surprise me because people are continually taken in is when a psychic tells you someone has put a curse on you or there is a negative block on you which only they can remove for some exorbitant price, HANG UP! Say goodbye, because this person could not care less about you or your problems. Psychic parlors are notorious for this kind of activity. It is not for real, the curse nor the psychic.

Worse Possible Scenario

I have heard many horror stories about unethical psychic readers. The worse kind of psychic I have come across is the one who has real psychic talent but tries to use what they see about a person to manipulate them by causing them to become dependent, telling them that “they” can make a thing happen, when in actuality the thing would happen anyway, and basically, swindling money from ordinary people who may be vulnerable. These people are dangerous. But in every walk of life, there are those who are malignant souls who prey on others and the same applies here. They are out there, so be aware. Rule of thumb: if they ask you for thousands of dollars to “fix” your problem, they are after the money. They can’t help you at all.

I have always believed that having a good doctor, a good mechanic and a good psychic are all professionals that are worth taking the time to assess their skill, experience and credentials to see if they are the one for you. There is nothing more satisfying then actually making a positive difference in someone’s life and their continued use of your service over many years. A walking, talking testimonial is very gratifying for this psychic adviser.

During my readings I often ask you what your month and day of birth is. I ask this because I want to see what kind of vibration you are in the particular year we are in at the time of the reading. For instance. Today’s date is November 17, 2009. The current year is very important for this calculation because it is used to determine what Personal Year you are in. If your birthday is October 2, 1980, your Personal Year vibration for the year 2009 is 5. From January 1, 2009 to December 31, 2009, this person will be in a 5 Personal Year. This happens to be one of the more significant personal year vibrations, 9 being the other more significant personal year number.

When I ask for this info, it is not to do an astrology reading, since I don’t do astrology. I’d love learn. But time appears to be the most valuable commodity these days. I ask so that I can check to see if your personal year energy is having a particular impact on your life in combination with the other energy influences I have already seen in your psychic readings.

So when I ask you your month and day your were born, it’s because I need to know if this number frequency is impacting your life in a significant way or not.

The personal years go from 1 through 9, also 11 and 22 in some cases. Each one carries a different influence and therefore can impact your life based on that influence. Trust me, there are many, many other influences that affect your life and your actions, this is just one.

I will post a more detailed explanation of the significant 5 and 9 Personal Year energies and why they are so important.

Let me know what you think?

If you are familiar with me and my concepts, then you may already be aware that I have been trying to help change some of the negative views that many people have about psychics and what they do. Since I have covered some of those aspects in other articles I want to focus more on what a psychic should be and what you can reasonably expect to learn from a psychic reading.

The most profound concept that came into my awareness at the beginning of this journey for me as a “psychic” advisor was the idea that we are all here to learn something; to grow and evolve towards perfection of the soul. When a real psychic is doing their job, they are assisting you in an awareness of certain aspects of your life when you seek out psychic advice. The reason psychic advice can be so powerful is because it can provide much needed insight into your life that you would otherwise not be aware of because you may be so embroiled in the day-to-day activities and events of your life that you shut out your own intuition and your own ability to access your Higher Self. Psychics are accessing unseen elements in nature; however within all of us exists a hidden, decipherable code that persons with highly developed psychic intuition and/or with the use of certain divination tools, can more readily access. These persons were either born with a natural gift and/or has developed it.

Once I found my true path, I decided to make it my mission to help those who seek it to find the power of their inner world and to access Higher Consciousness through spiritual practice. A psychic (a term which really is not to me accurately descriptive of what we do) is supposed to help you to help yourself. Not take the place of your own inner powers, insights or judgment by showing you that you can do this for yourself. A true intuitive psychic should be used for guidance and to give you probable outcomes based on the energy that you are channeling at the time of your reading. You see, a prediction can change because you have the power to change it, especially after someone tells you they see a thing that will happen but which you have the power to change. This is particularly useful when your advisor sees a possible negative outcome to a situation. This is in actuality an opportunity to change that possibility by changing your thinking, action, reaction or beliefs about a situation. Every conflict is just an opportunity to harmonize energy based on your thoughts and actions. Every outcome is not necessarily pre-ordained and fixed.

Many people need help to find their way and when you are speaking with a talented, authentic psychic, you are opening up more possibilities in exercising your free will to be at cause in your life as opposed to being effected by uncontrollable circumstances. Deep profound insights into your life can have a powerful affect on your consciousness and bring about the very thing you want, empowerment. It’s a much touted word these days, but it is for real. It is the quest that all souls (whether they know it or not) are moving towards as we travel the spiral upwards to perfection.

Having said all of that, what a psychic can tell is varied. First, you have to establish what kind of information you are seeking. Second, you have to find the right psychic who can provide you with this information. Now, not all psychics are created equal and this article assumes that you have done your homework and have established that you are working with a professional and ethical practitioner.

Know Your Psychic – Different Psychics Have Different Areas of Expertise

There are some psychics out there who claim to be 100% accurate, can tell all, knows all, that they are a psychic, a medium, an astrologer, crystal reader, reiki master, etc. I find that psychics that claim to be everything to everyone, most likely are probably neither professional nor ethical. Find out specifically what your psychic does best! Many professional psychics will tell you what they can and cannot do. For instance, a medium can be a psychic but all psychics are not mediums. So if you are wishing to contact a loved one who has crossed over, then you should seek an authentic psychic medium. All psychics are NOT mediums. Some psychics are clairvoyant (which means clear seeing) and have visions. In my experience, I have talked with many clairvoyant psychics who are indeed able to “see” visions in the past, present or future. The same goes for someone who is empathic who can “feel” another’s emotions. Some psychics can do both, but some can do only one or two practice areas very well.

Different Psychics Have Different Methods

Whether your psychic is clairvoyant, clairaudient, empathic, telepathic, a medium, uses divination tools such as Tarot, Runes, I Ching, or even numerology and astrology, the extent to which they can tell you certain information will be based on their experience in their craft, their skill, knowledge and natural gifts. All these elements play a part in getting you accurate psychic information during your reading and you especially want someone who is knowledgeable if they are going to be able to help you based on channeling from a higher realm. Some psychics use tools, some do not. Depending on how a psychic worker discovered their gift and how they have practiced it, will determine their skill level. I recall seeing a program on television where this psychic actually read peoples’ butts (yes, their behinds). There were actually people showing her their butts and she would read them. Go figure. No one should ever judge what it is that connects a person with higher consciousness. For some it may be the Tarot for others could be butts, but spiritual gifts come in all shapes and sizes, no pun intended. It is mastery that should concern us. Psychic mastery is a discipline like anything else and anyone seeking psychic advice should want someone who has mastered their gift to a certain degree in order to help others with it.

Some Common Pitfalls to Watch Out For

I have found through many years of using psychics, clairvoyants, etc. that some can see certain types of things but may not be able to assist you at all with what it is that concerns you. For instance, you call someone who claims to be clairvoyant and you want to know whether or not you will have a reconciliation with your lover and she sees that you have a new puppy and that you’re wearing a yellow scarf and you are blown away by this information. Wow, incredible. That is a gift for sure–to be able to do that and see that without seeing or knowing the person. So many everyday people have psychic gifts but that does not necessarily make them capable of helping you with a serious situation in your life that requires specialized help or someone who is experienced and knowledgeable and skilled in their craft at getting you real psychic answers channeled from Higher Consciousness.

Now even though that particular clairvoyant was able to see what you were wearing and that you had a new puppy does not mean that they can see clearly and profoundly the answers you seek. Their ability may not be a match for your concerns. I have found that people who are amazed by just small, little things like that tend to believe everything that clairvoyant says when in reality their gift is a gift of seeing “You” physically and what is in your physical surroundings, which is an excellent talent called remote viewing BUT is not a skill match for your reconciliation question or your career question. It is worth developing as a methodology for certain types of readings. But the tendency to “believe” everything from that point on is very strong because to an inexperienced seeker of psychic advice, this is amazing enough to cause you to make the erroneous determination that this person can see “everything”. And that is not the case many times over. So all this is to say, ask the psychic you may be calling or contacting to spell out exactly what their expertise is and you make the determination that this psychic is the one for you.

If a psychic is empathic, they can “feel” another’s feelings/emotions. If a psychic is telepathic, they can know another’s thoughts. If a psychic is clairvoyant they can see the past, the present and the future through visions. If a psychic is clairaudient, they receive/hear information even sounds in their mind. If a psychic is clairsentient, they can actually capture information through physical sensations associated with you or a person you are asking about. Keep in mind that the skill level of each practitioner is going to vary and this is another bit of information you want to inquire about. How much experience do they have?

All these abilities alone if untrained or at the beginning stages may not be able to assist you but when combined with training, experience and knowledge, you can a have a most unique experience with an authentic intuitive advisor that can help you in powerful ways that will assist you in your personal empowerment, provide insightful answers to your questions and probable outcomes. Remember, outcomes are based on the current energy that surrounds you at the time of your reading and without a doubt can change. Many people are under the mistaken perception that if it’s meant to be, then there is nothing you can do to change a thing. There are indeed some things that occur in every life that are destined to be because of certain preordained events that must take place in the life for your soul’s growth or in many, many cases, due to karmic debts and the resulting correction of imbalances created by misuse of certain energies in previous lifetimes. Then there are other life experiences where free will is at play and it is your very decision or action that is the thing that is being tested. So a psychic reading is not meant to bypass experience because your soul will undergo what it must to complete its “stopover” on this plane of existence, but an expert psychic reading can help you to identify that which is eluding you or some point you seem to be missing and help point you in the right direction. Or, your psychic can identify a block or a karmic pattern that you are having trouble dealing with. Sometimes it’s not just what Mom and Dad did to us as children. Sometimes just to become self-aware is empowering in and of itself. To become aware of something significant through guided spiritual forces can have an overwhelming effect on a person. It could be that very moment which becomes a turning point in your life. The true psychic spiritual advisor has done their job well if they can help you in this way. But they are not a substitute for experience and a professional, ethical psychic would never try to make you dependent on them.

What a Psychic Should Not be Telling You

Also, conversely, we should take a look at, what a psychic should not be telling you. A psychic should not be telling you what decisions to make. Always take away from your reading empowering elements that help you to make your own decisions about your life. An ethical and responsible psychic should never predict death. They should not propose doing spells for you that will change the course of events or another person or to negatively affect another’s life supposedly for your benefit. Engaging in this type of activity will only bring about negative karma on you and this psychic, and the karmic consequences could be devastating. This is totally unethical. A psychic should never tell you that they can make something happen for you because that is patently false. No one else can “make” something happen for you because a psychic advisor does not have any special powers to control your fate or others behavior. Psychic advisors are suppose to be spiritual people who have chosen to help others using spiritually developed talents but never choosing to use those talents to boost their own ego, control another’s will, or make you psychologically dependent. Those types are out there. Beware of psychics who tell you that they will need to perform “energy work” on you through long meditations at a great cost. If they tell you you have a negative block or curse this is a notorious psychic scam. If you encounter a psychic like this, even if they do seem to have psychic ability, do yourself a favor and hang up or leave immediately. You may want to read my article How to Spot a Fake Psychic to expand your knowledge in this area.

So, know your psychic, have a clear idea of what it is you need to know so you can make the best selection. Ask your psychic what they specialize in because no one specializes in everything. Let them stick to what they know or at which they are best doing. And make sure that they have training and experience. There is nothing worse than getting a psychic reading from someone who does not know what they are doing even if they may have a gift that is undeveloped and not qualified towards something specific. Do your homework, ask the right questions and realize the limitations of a psychic practitioner. No one but God is all-knowing and 100% accurate. Ignore anyone that makes these types of claims. That’s just for the gullible and uninformed.
Once again I get a call, today, about how a new client was told they had a curse on them by a local psychic shop. Untold amounts of money are being asked for to remove negative energy, a curse or anything a vulnerable person might believe is keeping them from finding happiness. These people are running a confidence scheme. You know those little houses you see all over the place. Well, they have a very notable place in history. It is a part of a gypsy culture.

“Authorities who study Gypsy con artists believe that nationwide the Gypsies run a multi-billion dollar crime industry.”

Source: http://www.gypsypsychicscams.com/con-culture.html

You can read all about it at http://www.gypsypsychiscams.com. This is a great place to start reading the history of the Gypsy Psychic Scams and it’s all here. Details about their tricks, skills and their monetary success. I know personally untold amount of individuals who have called me detailing their experiences. I have one client who was scammed out of $60,000 for quartz crystal. Others who were told to go shopping to places like Neiman Marcus to get a particular purse they were suppose to get back with all the money they gave to these people, which of course they never did.

Please read all about it and spread this information along. It seems that for every 100 people that find out what’s going on with these people, there are another 100 waiting around the corner to be had.

It’s exactly these kind of people who are causing real psychics who have integrity and ethical spiritual practices to receive undeserved negative feedback in the media. This is the origin of the misperception and these criminals have hurt many peoples’ lives both emotionally and materially and it’s resulted in challenging honest psychic practices today. However, scrutiny (both legally and within the community) is necessary to get rid of them.

I’ve decided to post every time I get a call with someone crying about the atrocious things they have been told and briefly believed. Just pass it along. Sooner or later knowledge will overwhelm schemes. Truth and integrity will endure.

Please share your experiences or your comments.<!--
